Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs) are setup under the provisions of Section 3 of The Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (SARFAESI) Act, 2002. Reserve Bank of India regulates the activities of ARCs.
